Product Certificates

Prysmian designs, manufactures and supplies FP cables to meet the requirements of the market. Each of these cables is manufactured to meet the requirements set out in the Building Regulations. When choosing an FP cable it is important that the correct one is chosen for any particular application.

As well as testing our cables in our state of the artFire Testing Facilitieswe also hold third party certification for all FP cables.

The two main third party test houses in the UK areBASECand LPCB.Each independently tests manufacturer’s cables to ensure that they meet the specifications outlined in the building regulations. It is important to choose cables that hold these certifications to ensure that a high quality cable is received that is consistently manufactured.

Often building or maintenance officers require copies of these certificates on building completion. Please feel free to download the latest copies of our certificates from below.

In addition to BASEC/ LPCB we are able to test against customer specific requirements.
