Adverts and Media Campaigns

Throughout 2007, Prysmian developed its advertising campaign to associate strong visual images with its market leading brand of FP cables. Simple, clean design was used to re-inforce the key features associated with this ever popular range of cables.

The three adverts outlined below are the continuation of 30 years of advertising experience, which started under the Pirelli brand in 1976. These latest adverts originally appeared across 8 trade press titles throughout 2007 and in adapted forms in numerous UK and International exhibitions, seminars and events.

You do the buildingsThe first of the new Prysmian FP adverts, this design concept displays the skyline of a typical town or city, which is being protected through the use of fire protection systems incorporating FP cables. Typically used in commercial properties, the out-line of the buildings are indicative of the types of buildings that use FP cables. With the proven assurance of product quality, Prysmian offers cables that meet all relevant tests and standards and holds 3rd party certification for its FP range. There are no equivalents

There are no equivalentsWith over 30 years market leading experience Prysmian are the number one cable company in terms of experience and product knowledge. The no equivalents strapline refers to a term often used in specifications regarding fire resistant cables e.g FP200 Gold or equivalent. However with the unique constructions and compounds found within many of our cables there are often no comparable equivalents to the FP range of cables.

FP Plus - New generation

FP PlusTowards the end of 2007, Pysmian introduced a new generation of its popularFP Plus cables

, incorporating enhanced Insudite insulation giving increased damage resistance, and improved handling properties, the new FP Plus cable offers the same ease of installation and bending performance as Prysmian’s market-leading FP200 Gold. The basis of this advert is the no equivalents advert – as the construction and enhanced InsuditeTM are unique to Prysmian and therefore there are no equivalents.
