LPCB Product Certification and Approval

LPCB are an independent, accredited approval organisation for fire and security products including fire resistant cables for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems and other applications requiring specific performance in the event of a fire.

LPCB approval of a particular product range against the applicable standard results in the issue of a Product Certification Schedule and listing in the LPCB Red Book and provides confirmation that the product range meets and continues to meet appropriate standards.

LPCB approval is given only after rigorous assessment and successful Type Testing of representative samples of the product against the requirements of the appropriate standards.
